In short: Permis Prêt is an independent study aid for the SAAQ Class 5 knowledge test. The free version needs no account. The full version costs $12.99 CAD, paid once, with no subscription. You can ask for a refund, no questions asked, within 14 days of purchase. Permis Prêt does not guarantee that you will pass the test.
1. Who we are
The Permis Prêt website and app (the “service”) are operated by Permis Prêt (“we”). To reach us: aibotfarm04@gmail.com (see the Contact page). By using the service, you accept these terms.
2. What Permis Prêt is
- A study aid: original practice questions with explanations and sources, and mock exams to prepare for the Class 5 (passenger vehicle) knowledge test in Québec.
- An independent product, not affiliated with the Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ) or the Government of Québec. The name “SAAQ” is used only to describe the test it prepares for. Our questions do not reproduce the official test.
- No guarantee of passing. Your result on the SAAQ test depends on your preparation and on the questions you get. A good score on Permis Prêt does not ensure that you will pass the official test.
- The service does not replace the mandatory driving course, the SAAQ’s official guides or the Highway Safety Code.
3. Accuracy of the content
Every question is written from the official texts (Highway Safety Code, regulations, SAAQ guides) and checked a second time against the cited source. Despite this care, a mistake or an outdated rule may remain. When in doubt, the official text prevails. If you find a mistake, the “Report an error” button under each explanation sends it to us; we fix confirmed questions.

The full version is not a subscription: there is no renewal and no recurring charge. Applicable taxes, if any, are shown before you confirm the payment. The number of questions may change slightly between updates (additions, or removal of a doubtful question); updates to the bank are included at no extra cost.
5. Purchase and payment
Permis Prêt is the seller. The payment is processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe, on its checkout page; the receipt is sent to you by email. We never receive or store your payment card details.
6. Access to the full version
- Your purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the full version.
- Your progress (answers, mistakes, results) is stored only on your device, in your browser. If you clear your browser data or change devices, that progress is lost; we cannot recover it.
- After payment, the full version unlocks on the device you used. To unlock it on another device or after clearing your browser data, use the “Restore my purchase” button with the email you used at checkout. If you have trouble, write to us with your receipt.
7. Refunds
You can get a full refund, with no need to give a reason, within 14 days of purchase. Details are in our refund policy.
8. Permitted use
The service is for your personal study. You may not copy, bulk-extract, resell, republish or share the question bank, explanations or illustrations, or bypass the full-version lock.
9. Intellectual property
Permis Prêt’s questions, explanations, illustrations and texts are protected original works. The laws and official publications we cite remain the property of their authors; we link to them. Permis Prêt does not use the SAAQ’s logo or illustrations.
10. Availability of the service
We do our best to keep the service available and working offline after the first visit, but we cannot guarantee that it will be free of interruptions. We may change or improve the service’s content and features.
11. Your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under Québec’s Consumer Protection Act or other applicable laws. Any clause that would conflict with those laws does not apply to you.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Québec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version. A change does not alter the terms of a purchase already made.
14. Language
These terms are available in French and English. If the two versions differ, the French version prevails.
